After high school, I joined the USAF, trained as a computer programmer and operator, serving in Louisiana and New York before discharge after 4 years. Traveled around a little, then settled in El Paso, Texas, started school and, shortly thereafter, a small business. Married in 1978 to Mary, had our only child in 1981. The business grew, parenthood, family and work occupied all my time. I became a gardener and a very active member of the El Paso Native Plant Society and the Franklin Mountain Wilderness Coalition. Photography has remained a longtime passion, and our business is now about 40 years along. I guess a few more blinks of the eye and our lives will have changed even more dramatically. I remain a weekly hiker and am fortunate to retain good health. I look forward to seeing all of you, and good old CB soon.
