Ronald Allen Holland, age 75, of Council Bluffs, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at home with his family.

He grew up in North, Kansas City, Missouri, and was a graduate of North Kansas City High School, and NWMS University. He started his career as a teacher and baseball coach at Abraham Lincoln High School; was a manager for P.I.E. Trucking; and retired after 20 plus years with Federal Express (FedEx). He remained an avid baseball fan and enjoyed wood carving and being a volunteer at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose (Fox) Holland; and his sister, Nancy Richards.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline, of Council Bluffs; son, Aaron Chessarek, of Omaha, Neb.; step sons, Barry Willcoxon, of Council Bluffs, Jade (Janene) Willcoxon, of Clarinda, Iowa; step daughter, Carman Cross, of Baldwin City, Kan.; 16 grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to your local Humane Society. It was Ron’s wish to be cremated, no services will be held.
