Not much to add to my last entry (see below.) We continue to travel this awesome country on the back of a Harley! I have "semi-retired" so have more time to pursue other interests as well; gardening, sewing, reading and doing nothing!! My oldest grandchild graduates from high school this May, makes me feel excited and proud of my family. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!

In the early 70's, when I was married, I traveled to Germany and Kansas, compliments of the US government. We then returned to CB and I have lived here ever since. I went to nursing school in the late 70's, as a single parent, and graduated in 1981. I went to work at Jennie Edmundson Hospital and am still there. I was hired in the OB department in the spring of 1982, and I still work there. I would like to think I can continue to survive all the changes and be able to retire from there, but, like a lot of you I suspect, tolerance runs thin for the "stuff" that management thinks is so important. My son lives in Omaha, and has two children. He always said he couldn't wait to leave here and work somewhere else. Well, he made it to a lot of other cities but has gradually been working his way back to CB, just like his mother told him he would! My daughter lives here in CB, and she also would like to live somewhere better. I envy the fact that she is 23, single and no kids. She can do whatever she wants!! I still think, like her brother, she'll always call this "home". I couldn't tell you in this space all that I have done in the last 35 years! I've had a good life full of changes and experiences that I could not have possibly foreseen. Lately, I have reunited with a high school sweetheart and we are enjoying a good life. He has a Harley and has created a new passion for me. We put lots of miles on that bike and I go places and do things that neither you or I could have believed of me. We are planning a 3 week trip to the coast highway of California, on the bike, the week of the reunion. I regret not being able to be at the reunion to see everyone, but hope you all have a good time and I will too!!
