AUSTRALIA 1974-1976 TEACHER1 COUNCIL BLUFFS 1977-1978 KODIAK, ALASKA 1978-1988 ASTORIA, OREGON 1988-PRESENT I have been busy traveling and being a wife and mother of 2 young amazing women. I taught school for 38 years. I am at present a private contractor with my school district, mentoring new teachers. I am committed to PEO and am on the scholarship committee. I also volunteer with Assistance League, helping to dress small children for school, provide formal dresses for high school girls and provide scholarships for students needing athletic fees. For fun my family travels...a lot :) I have completed the Columbia River Cross Channel Swim 8 times. I am a member of the Main Street Tappers, love it! I also have fun with Zoomba and Pound. Most recently I have become a Master Gardener. Of course I love reading, making syrup from my blueberries and my GIRLFRIENDS! Life is good, not always easy but I would not choose it any other way!
