I have been married 25 years and an art teacher in the CB schools for 25 years – Longfellow, Pusey, Glendale, Washington, Kirn and the last 6 years at A.L.  I was chosen Teacher of the Year at A.L. in 1998, Teacher of the Year for CB schools in 1999, and finalist for State of Iowa Teacher of the Year 2000. I am a former member of the CB Artists Club, Toastmasters. Hobbies are travel, biking, socializing, and artwork. I remember most the people I grew up with and the fun times we had outside of school; since I actually spent part of high school at Lewis Central. I lost both my parents in the 80’s so I’ve learned to roll with life’s punches and appreciate its’ lighter side. Meeting Johnny Depp this past year was quite amusing.
