After becoming an empty nester a few years ago, my husband and I moved to the wooded north hills of Omaha where we see wild turkey, deer, birds of many types, woodchucks, etc. daily. I am still a library/media specialist at an elementary school in Millard. My son was married last September at an area winery and is an attorney with the public defender's office. My daughter is in graduate school at The American University of Paris. It was a great destination vacation last April. I have three stepchildren who are out on their own and doing well as a beautician, a teacher, and an airman at Offutt. I am a member in a book group going on 27 years and have recently taken up gourmet cooking. (A duck confit was probably our most challenging dish.) Gardening and bicycling are two of my other interests. I can't believe that it has been so many years since high school; I wouldn't mind being nineteen again...or at least looking like I did at nineteen!
