Gail and I left Iowa for Wyoming in 1978. We spent 20 years in Wyoming, 3 years in Texas and have been in Arkansas since 2001. I was employed with Peter Kiewit, Sons in the coal mining division for 24 years as an Environmental Manager with responsibility for environmental/permitting compliance and reclamation of mined lands. After 24 years I decided to retire and played for 3 years before starting a career in real estate. We love the ozarks, especially the northwest Arkansas area and Bella Vista. We have 8 golf courses ($13 for 18 holes), 7 lakes, tennis courts, swimming, raquetball and everything else we look for as we grow older. We are just 25 miles from the home of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Gail and I are active in church, Lions Club, golf, bowling and social activities. Bella Vista provides the quality of life we enjoy.
