James E. Wrinkle, age 72, passed away on November 25, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska. 

Jim was born to the late Robert E. Wrinkle and Gloria L. (Bachman) Wrinkle on February 12, 1952 in Council Bluffs, IA. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1970. Jim worked for Communications Workers of America, District 7 in Omaha, NE, Environmental Salvage as a supervisor and instructor until their closing. Jim then decided in 1991 to start his own business, BBW Environmental, for over 25 years, until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey L. Wrinkle, John E. May, Jr.; in-laws, Earl and Maxine Gibbs; second mother, Mary Lou Wrinkle; former in-laws, Earl and Thea Williamson.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Patricia; sons, Bryan (Rachel) Wrinkle of Lawrence, KS, Brent (fiancée, Erin Hansen) Wrinkle of Hickman, NE, Kurt Holmes of Council Bluffs, IA; daughter, Julie Camp of Fort Meyers, FL; grandsons, Eric Camp of St. Petersburg, FL and Jason Camp of Sarasota, FL; granddaughters, Chloe Wrinkle of Hampton, NE and Gemma Hansen of Hickman, NE; Brother Raymond (Hoss) Wrinkle (Donna) of Crescent, IA; sisters, Joni Kelso (Wade) of Omaha, NE and Jeni Wrinkle of CA.; former spouse, Wanda Wrinkle of Omaha, NE; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation with the family, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A lunch will follow at Denny’s Place in Crescent, IA. Memorials are suggested to Midlands Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
