My husband, Gary, and I have been married for 42 years and have lived in Council Bluffs the entire time. I ran a home daycare business for 15 years when my children were young, then worked as an office manager at Grace University for 3 years. I spent the next 18 years working in the Teacher Education Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and retired from there on disability in 2013. I am active in my church and love to cook, crochet, read, do counted cross-stitch and, most of all, spend time with my family.
