I have been living in Colorado since 1981. Work as a lineman, cable splicer, cable maintenance technician for Northwestern Bell (Omaha) from 1972 to 1981. I transfered to Mountain Bell in '81 and continued working various outside technician jobs until 1992 (now USWEST). Made a career move (USWEST/QWEST Management) to Outside Plant Engineering, OSP Tactical Planning, and finally OSP Technical Support from '92 till 2003 at which time I retired from QWEST. I did several telcom support jobs from 2003 till 2006 at which time we sold our home and went traveling for 2 years. Decided to settle down and built a house (2008) between Florissant and Cripple Creek, Colo. We're at 8,750' elevation on the west side of Pikes Peak. We have spent the past 3 winters in Gold Canyon, AZ to avoid some of the snow and cold weather they have up here in the mountains. We both enjoy hiking and golf.
