Rick was born on Feb. 24, 1952 to Vern and Mary Jane Harter Damgaard. He graduated from ALHS in 1970. He started working at age 14 for Bingo King formerly Precision Services and later started his own company Precision Distributing.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandy "Friedrich"; sons, Cory and wife, Alisha, Jeremy and wife, Kelli; grandchildren, Tanner, Zohie, Nissa, Bridger, Ricky; brothers, Mike and wife, Phyllis, Mac and wife, Terri; sister, Margie Lewis and husband, Larry, all of Council Bluffs; Many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to Personal Choice.
