After a brief courtship, I married in 1971. Six years and three children later, we moved from his hometown of Wichita, KS to Omaha. One year later, the divorce was final. Several years had to pass before I realized that the sheltered life I lived significantly diminished the quality of my younger-adult life. I have always known that the work I came here to do required no letters after my name, yet I am drawn to learning, intelligence, stimulating conversation, empowerment and teaching, mostly by example. In some circles, I have opportunity to share my personal story. I relate that I was taught by masters and I was an exceptional student. I list some of the lessons I've learned here, though not necessarily in order of importance. 1. Life is a series of "lessons". We will always get the "experience" before we get the "lesson". The "experience" will be repeated until we get the "lesson". 2. There are no accidents in God's universe. Everything happens in Divine Right Order on Divine Right Time. 3. There are no "victims"; there are only "volunteers". For many years I was in the dark about being a 'volunteer'; my life changed as I began to change my thoughts about life. 4. We are all One. I am a member of the race called "human" and all are my family. The massacre at Sandy Hook in Connecticut (Dec 14, 2012) didn't happen to "other people's kids" or "those" heroic teachers; it happened to "my kids" and "my sister-teachers". As such, I take the action of a surely-deranged-man very personally, and my heart is breaking in a million tiny pieces. 5. I practice Forgiveness. It is a gift that I give to the Self. Along with Prayer, Forgiveness helps and reminds me to seek out the best and highest good for myself and others in all situations. In prayer I ask: Dear God - Bless them, change me. 6. I am willing to Change. In the shade of my life, I am all about being the Change that I seek, the Joy I express and the Love that I AM. I am jazzed about empowering others to lead joy-filled, productive, peaceful, prosperously abundant lives in partnership with a power greater than themselves; some call this power Jesus, God, Allah, Buddha, and Jehovah, to name a few. 7. I am Higher Powered. What I know for sure is that there is one God and many paths. God doesn't really care which path is chosen. You can even change your choice, like I did. Just know that YOU are the person who best knows which path will work for you. Not your Mom or Dad or your Grandparents or even the church you grew up in. 8. I am Enough and there is Enough. Within you lie all the answers to all the questions you may have never asked. Within you is all the love you will ever need. This is an abundant universe and there is plenty of Love for everyone, including me. Lastly, please know that WE are the ones we have been waiting for. May you have peace and joy and enough in all areas of your life. Perhaps we will see one another in 2015. Namaste, my friend.

Updated: 01/20/14 The only change is that more grand-angels have been born. My passions remain the same and I have involved myself in more volunteer work, including mentoring women in recovery.
