Albert Sherman Worley, age 71, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, at Hospice House in Glenwood, Iowa.

Albert was born in Forbes, Missouri on March 9, 1940, to Cecil and Abbigal Stull Worley. After graduating from high school, Albert received his BA from Northwest Missouri, and for the next 35 years worked for Council Bluffs Schools, coaching and instructing drivers education for AL, TJ, and SA students. Albert was a member of First Christian Church, Iowa Safety Education Association. He and wife Beverly have been married for 48 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard.

Survivors include wife, Beverly, of Council Bluffs; daughter, Lisa Gutierrez and husband, Al, of Bryan, Texas; son, Mark, of LaVista; 5 grandchildren, Alton, Austin and Alexis Gutierrez, Colin and Eric Worley; sister, Rose Marie Miller; brothers, Ronald and wife, Ruby, all of St. Joseph, Mo., LeRoy and wife, Irene, of Savannah, Mo., Larry and wife, Jan, of Holt, Mo.; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services Friday, 2 p.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Rev. Jerry Hopkins, officiant. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at First Christian Church. Memorials to Hospice with Heart, Glenwood, and First Christian Church.
